Urban Running – A Personal Series Exploring Motion, Light, and the City

This personal project explores the intersection of running culture, urban aesthetics, and natural light – shot on location in Frankfurt am Main. Together with model Sarah, I created a dynamic photo series that highlights female athleticismand the contrasts of movement within a concrete cityscape.

From brutalist architecture to quiet side streets, the shoot captures motion, stillness, and rhythm in everyday spaces. Working without a commercial brief allowed me to explore creative angles, contrasting textures, and the tension between body and structure.

„Urban Running“ is part of my ongoing exploration of sports and lifestyle photography. It’s a story about female strength, freedom in motion, and visual storytelling in raw urban environments – photographed with a clean, documentary-inspired aesthetic.
